Yeh Khula Aasmaan is a 25 May 2012 release, relationship based film by Gitanjali Sinha, Starring veteran actors Raghubir Yadav, Yashpal Sharma and introducing Raj Tandon and Anya Anand (New Actress From Bihar).

The film is inspired by a true story and tells the tale of a young IIT aspirant's academic failures and the problem of crumbling family ties. Already screened to rave reviews at international film festivals, the film makes its debut at cinema theaters across India on 25 May 2012.

Plot

Yeh Khula Aasmaan revolves around Avinash, a young intelligent boy going through an extremely challenging phase of life due to his academic failures. He feels an immense vacuum which unfortunately his busy parents are unable to fill. In desperation he visits his Grandfather (Dadu) after several years.

Being the Best Kite Runner of his era, Dadu uses the 'kite' to subtly impart the lessons of life and prepares Avinash to face life. Under Dadu's company Avinash discovers many unexplored yet invaluable facets of life finding true Friendship, Love and Inspiration to lead a life full of hope, joy and success.

The film stars Raghubir Yadav, Yashpal Sharma, Raj Tandon, Anya Anand, Manjusha Godse, Kishor Nadalskar, Nitin Kerur, Aditya Siddhu and Gulshan Pandey.

The film is directed by Gitanjali Sinha, who has trained in film making at the New York Film Academy, USA, St. Martin’s College of Arts, London, and at Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods Film Institute in Mumbai. Hemendra Aran of Gitanjali Creations has produced the movie. 90% of the film has been shot in Bihar’s picturesque Bhagalpur
